Inspirations

The different forms of visual art and entertainment early in life excited me in very distinct ways and allowed for a palette of opportunities when it came to think art conceptually.

A political cartoon or a caricature will strike a very specific artistic need whereas film and music video clips would take advantage of screenplay to bring sequence of images together to tell stories.

The need to represent movement comes from the joy of watching film and sports in action.
The need to fluctuate between the different styles (Abstract/ figurative/ Cartoon/ Caricature) and different materials (oil painting, watercolor, graphite, pen/ pencil, acrylic, charcoal) seemed clear from the beginning.

Any given style / material will benefit from getting experience on the other.
